Adapting to a New Environment...(my essay)

Human beings are very adaptable. We can live in most climates of the world. In the past, people tended to stay in the place they were born, but now we move easily from countryside to city, from one part of a country to another, and even from country. Each place has its own customs and ways of life, and countries have different language. When I moved from Semarang to Jakarta. I changed my behavior in three significant ways.
Firstly, you can have a look on my dress now. I used to wear T-shirt, and pants. I liked casual style even I went to somewhere had a formal condition. I confessed I was so modestly. But I did not claim as a simple one anymore when I worked as doctor’s assistant. I needed to change the way I dressed to have a good appearance for patients. They might think that I was not a good person or well educated indeed as a matter of I did not have a good personality in dressing. Nevertheless, it has no guarantee that a good one or a bad one can be valued from his/her appearance at all, but still this matter will be one of standard.
Secondly, I was so countrified. I am Javanese talking in undertones, and moved to the place has mostly blustery in talking, because they are Batavian. I faced many of them, so I guessed I should adapt in talking with them. They could think I was so graceful, whereas I was not. Moreover, I was interested in English, the language has juncture and required the learners to speak fast to gain better. Thus, it was a good decision in making my speech fast.
The last, Listening Rock music is not the part of my life anymore. I lived together with a doctor who has broadened horizon. Therefore, I needed to optimize my brain by reading a lot as he has a good library in his office. When I was waiting patient, I preferred to read many books, religious ones until medicines ones. Moreover, reading is a good way to increase my knowledge for I did not come to college yet. Am I the same person I was before or am I different now? Changes makes us examines our values and our habits. By changing my dress, my accent, and my hobby I think I may appear to others as if I am a new person. I don’t really think so, however. I prefer to think of it not so much as having changed but as having grown
